June 1, 2011 - Fragrant green apple and vanilla aromas. Tart, complex palate of lemons and slate. Pineapple notes in the finish. Sharp acids support a remarkably full bodied palate. An exceptional example (and an exception) for a justly maligned varietal. Is it cringeworthy to say that this is an example of taking a lemon and turning it into lemonade? Yeah, probably.

August 16, 2010 - Brace yourself because this wine is about to rip your face off... in a good way. Razor-sharp and intense. Tons of mineral, green apple and lemon with a subtle underlying creaminess. Light to medium bodied, perfectly balanced, great length. Lemonade for adults. Still kicking on day two.
