November 24, 2006 - Showing a little brick coloration. Still going strong. Lots of rustic complexity and showing decent fruit. This was my last bottle and it was well-timed.

July 5, 2006 - Might have been a little past its prime but still bright and fruity with good depth of fruit and a moist, earthy quality. I look forward to trying the 02 and 03.

May 26, 2005 - Light brightly extracted with moderate depth of color. Strawberries, flowers and anise spice. Also a slight aroma of earth, like a small hole in the floor into an old cellar, in the background. Overall, really nice complexity for a CdR. The palate is pretty good with acidity and somewhat rough tannins. Also not 'big' or mouth-coating, but was great with a Beniamino's Chicago-style stuffed pizza (finally found one in Denver worthy of the title). Probably has a few years left in it. Will definitely look for this producer in the future.

September 24, 2004 - Well structured wine. Nose - intense, meaty, hints of bay leaf, licorice.
Elegant palate - strawberries, cherries intertwined with earthy aromas.
    Mineral and spicy finish.
