July 17, 2007 - Some nice cherry & plum up front, but quickly overcome by tannins. Very one dimensional, but what do you expect for $12. Didn't improve overnight. Surprising amount of sediment...I would have assumed this was filtered.

Grenache Wine Tasting, Episode #144, 12/11/2006 (link) 88 points(BONNY DOON CLOS GILROY GRENACHE) #2; COLOR-pinkish edges w/ ruby center; NOSE-vibrant, little strawberry, hints of violets & lilacs; TASTE-rhubarb pie, quite good, very dry & a little acidic, but not to much, rounded very nicely, mid-palate to the finish comes on strong, little pepper, balsamic vinegar & oil, a lot going on, very solid, little light & green, but nice entry-level Grenache; ST-87; GV-88
