June 27, 2010 - For 2.99 I wasn't expecting much, though in calling itself 'reserva' I thought just maybe... alas, no such luck. A very lackluster effort. Nose of unripe strawberries and other vegetal aromas. Thin mouthfeel, green, and bitter. Best for cooking. At this price point I have had better luck with two buck chuck shiraz.

April 20, 2010 - light and somewhat sweet with jolly rancher/punch flavors, as well as oak. Some tannins on the finish. Fine for the price, but I wonder if it could use more time in the bottle
