September 14, 2010 - As much as I like a big, jammy Zinfandel, its nice to see one that impresses with its subtlety rather than wow you with power. While this SLO Zin has all the things I love about Zin, fruit forward dark cherry and berries, its comes on more of a whisper than a shout. Not a real complex wine, but quite quaffable. Very good.

June 23, 2010 - Balanced - very nice in the price range. On second day, even smoother. Something keeps drawing me back - faint Sweet-tart flavors, but dry. Soft tannins, lively acidity. 14.2% ETOH, but I'm not noticing it.
