May 10, 2022 - Eight years since I had this wine and time has been good for it. It still needed about two hours to open up and kept improving over the two days I enjoyed it. Dark berry fruit now is in forefront, forest undergrowth is there as always and the oak is present, but not distracting. Tannins are ripe and in balance with the fruit. Long balanced finish. Just hitting prime and I think still improving. Another 3 to 5 years.

May 12, 2021 - Lovely without decanting in 2021. Leather, some barnyard early on, but resolving into a kind of vanilla or tobacco or... Very, very dark, impenetrable, without bricking but with sediment. Altogether a good bottle
