Community Tasting Notes 6

August 11, 2017 - This wine is singing at present. Aromatic, smooth, well integrated, and complex. Glad I waited a few years before drinking this last bottle. Enjoyed with baked chicken and Spanish rice. Slight improvement sine my last foray almost six years ago; unlikely to develop further, but should cellar for another 1-2 years. A great Oregon Pinot Noir..

August 23, 2014 - Brown edges, grapey nose, some wood here still; this has a very nice Burgundian quality to it--plenty of depth and finesse. Wood mostly integrated as the wine opened; nice glycerine quality to the mouthfeel.

January 11, 2013 - Great pinot noir; wish I had more. Fine taste and fragrance. Lush blackberries, hints of plum with subtle notes of tobacco (maybe) and something else beyond the reach of my palate. Nice nose, light initial taste that grows to a strong finish.

October 21, 2012 - Very smooth and inoffensive, almost to the point of not making an impression. Was surprised how this drank without making a significant impression - the last bottles were much more impressive, so I look forward to trying another bottle

November 26, 2011 - Consistent with my prior tasting notes. An excellent, classy, masculine Pinot Noir. Drinks like a $60 plus bottle of wine; bought at $32 on Lot 18. I only wish I had bought more! Paired well with char-grilled salmon, rice, and grilled vegatables.
