December 31, 2015 - Nose: Mint, Lavendar, light fruit
Palate: very well balanced, long finish, chocolate, blackberry
    Nice wine

July 26, 2013 - Translucent ruby red with a baked cherry pie nose. Cherries in a nicely balanced example of red fruit, acidity and soft tannins with a moderate length finish.

March 24, 2013 - Not sure what to make of this. The nose was quite lovely and the wine was supple and oh-so-easy on the palate...that is the problem. This is a young Corton Bressandes - this thing should be showing young and intense. Instead it has all the substance of a feather pillow. Is it enjoyable? Yes. But you might as easily guess Oregon Pinot as Corton...it has more in common today with the former. I have one other bottle, which I think I'll hold at least 5 more years to see what happens to it. I hope it puts on some muscle, but just not sure?

March 22, 2013 - Pre-Trip Dinner #2 (Pied-á-Terre): Some savory notes with darker red fruits and a slightly rustic profile yet with powdery and approachable tannins. This was surprisingly easy drinking for a 2001 Corton. Big and youthful but approachable. I think this would be better in 5-7 years when it’s developed some secondary notes. Very good. 89+

February 18, 2013 - Fresh cherry and mushroom on the nose. With warm red fruit mostly cherry on the palate. Beautifully integrated oak, acidity and sweet tannins produce a warm mouth feel with delicately lingering flavors on the modestly long finish.
