December 11, 2022 - "I drank all the Giz" (Chicago, IL): Served double blind. Slightly stinky nose (some said blue cheese, but I didn't pick up on it, and I like to think that I'm pretty sensitive to those off aromas). Nonetheless, this is clearly wine on its last legs. There's still some fruit on the palate, but it does feel like it's drying up. This is definitely still a pretty rustic wine, and the Italy guess wasn't too hard to make.

February 15, 2021 - Fully mature back cherry throughout with leather and braised meat. Good weight, held up well for an hour+. Better/ fresher than my previous two bottles, even if clearly older than its ideal consumption date.
