  June 17, 2021 - showing magnificently, integrated fruit, balanced and lush with a surprising finish for a wine I gave little hope for.......cudos and accolades for an expansive example of a unique syrah blend!

  November 1, 2012 - Has mellowed out tremendously since the reports below. Pepper still makes sure you know it's present, but not jarringly so -- it takes it's rightful place towards the end of the mid-palatte progression. Gorgeous aromatics of dark and blue fruit, clove, and an almost honey-like smokiness. Strong, even tannin hangs out through the forefront of the lengthy finish. Only thing that keeps me from 91-92 is a bit more heat than I like at the end. Probably more of a subjective preference than a contour out of line with its 14.4%.
