June 3, 2023 - Relatively balanced for such a ripe blend. Opened over 90-120 minutes and was guessed as a California blend...lol

December 25, 2020 - I love it. Blackberries, earth and leather. Tannins are there but balanced. I don’t agree with previous tasting notes that it is too old. In my opinion it is perfect right now. Had it to pata negra - excellent combo.

October 2, 2020 - My final and least good bottle of this wine from this vintage.
Clearly a wine for early/mid age consumption - not for the long haul.
Still a good wine, but has started to fall apart.
A very fruit filled vintage but without the rest to hold up for a longer cellar time it should have been consumed earlier.
Not faulty - nor bad, just over.

August 24, 2018 - I belong to the ‘I waited too long’ Club. Having said that, there are remarkable signs of a well crafted wine that I’m now tasting in the rear view mirror. The nose has an herbal quality. The tannins are there, and not to be ignored. The dried red fruit is impacted by sage and lime rind. Alas, the winemaker is not to blamed, but the slow hand to have tasted this a year before, which, I imagine, would have been rewarded with more fruit and less it’s Doppler effect.

January 4, 2018 - Advanced in color and has moderate off-aromas consistent cork taint.
Will check in again tomorrow, but alas.
