July 31, 2012 - Holding up well for an old lady. Rich oak nose. Mellow citrus and oak palate. Creamy texture. Long dense finish.

May 24, 2009 - This was an Awesome bottle. Great balance, citrus, floral, & butter, Served with cheese & fruit and enhacned each. A truly fine bottle.

September 30, 2008 - On the nose - dark tropical fruits, a bit brooding in character, along with buttered corn and a hint of cotton-candy sweet. Carries to the palate along with a resinous smoky oak that's quite appealing. Finish is long, but lacks a touch of density that would lead to a higher score.

September 1, 2008 - I can only think that this is an extremely good, well kept bottle. Not quite sure why my impression of this so exceed everyone else's opinion. Very rich without being cloying or "puckery". Crisp oak on a rich spicy finish that lasts forever. Well done!

February 26, 2008 - Noticeable oak on the nose. While butter and oak are in evidence on the palate, for my tastes its well balanced with the fruit. This is not in a style of a "summer cooler", but is not overdone. This reminds me of California chardonnays from vintages gone by, in the days before fruit took a back seat.
