March 1, 2023 - From my late dad's cellar - purchased on release. Tasted over two nights I was ultimately shocked at how youthful and fruity this was. The alcohol did intrude a bit, but not excessively so when served at a cool (e.g., 65 degrees F) room temperature. Lots of deep cherry, and only a little bit of earthy development. Felt quite Californian, but not an a bad way - just a more direct Pinot feel, and only delicate structure that reminded me more than a little of some of the Rhys Bearwallow bottlings. Go figure.

January 18, 2020 - Popped and poured. No evidence of bricking, nice ruby color. Nice nose with fruit elements, very spry. Mature fruit but amazing for a 16 year old Bourgogne to show this well. A great producer

April 11, 2014 - really liked this, it was - as you would expect - ripe and fruity, but it had some spice and character for a bourgogne given the vintage, ready to drink, tannins resolved and frankly i think these should be drunk soon, Chevillon as usual did more than one could expect with this wine

May 22, 2010 - Had in Libertyville before my deployment. Tobacco, leather, and barnyard taste with a tart cherry backbone. Complex flavor structure.

February 1, 2010 - Brought a bottle to salt lake city with bob and Gabrielle. Smooth wine. Very drinkable now.
