December 4, 2020 - 2 hours open 1 hr decant. Got to say, this has really come around in the 5 years that i've had it. First couple bottles were terribly disjointed and just about cooking wine for me. Today that sense has gone away in a big way; while not particularily good out of the gate it came into its own quickly showing the blend of darker CS and a more lifted, red like fruit from the CF. A nice blend and actually nothing going down hill. Now if I can just find that last bottle I supposedly have somewhere.

December 10, 2017 - Fruity, lush, and juicy, backed by very good structure. Leaning heavily toward the modern style, and at or near peak. Tasty! 91-92.

May 11, 2017 - Falesco, Marciliano, Umbria, IGT, 2006: Tasted blind. This bottle was stored in absolutely impeccable conditions since its release, and it shows! A Bordeaux-style blend (in both composition and style) of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Black cherry red/purple in color. On the nose, saturated aromas of fresh, ripe black fruit, with notes of wet forest floor, saddle leather and pipe tobacco. This youthful, complex and concentrated wine is full-bodied, with notes of cassis, bramble and boysenberries, followed by graphite and saline minerals. Medium-plus acidity here with rich, searing tannins rising on the very long and elegant finish. Outstanding wine. Drink now-2024, perhaps longer. 13.5% Abv. 94-95

April 20, 2016 - This was a well conserved bottle. Powerful and complex nose of dark fruits, mushroom, leather and little volatile acidity. This wine is layered and complex supported by a solid tannin backbone and good acidity. Mid-palate is concentrated, dense and complex with dark fruits and earth. Excellent finish with firms tannins and long lasting aftertaste. Powerful but not overextracted, with optimal ripeness. Delicious. One of the best kosher i had!
