Its still rich but showing some maturity though not in the way of complexity. A nice hearty Bordeaux blend but not a lot more. At the price point and age is still a nice deal.

  December 29, 2019 - Nose of earth, tar, dark fruit, licorice, subtle coffee grounds, hints of meat — quite a bit going on. The palate maybe isn’t quite as rich and complex as the nose, but it’s good and the licorice comes through. Nicely balanced and elegant. Drinking very well right now, with lots of freshness, could develop even further. Quite good.

  March 17, 2014 - Deep purple goodness in the glass. Aromatic nose of black fruits, cacao and earth. Palate is balanced and velvety with notes of blueberries, chocolate, vanilla and spice. Very nice

  May 9, 2013 - PnP. Purple/Ruby color. Medium legs. Cedar, Blackberry, Coffee and Black Cherry nose. Tastes of Blackberry, Cocoa and Cherry. Soft texture. Excellent balance. Long finish. 14.3% ABV. Drinking very well right now.

  October 21, 2011 - Tasted side by side with 2006 and 2008. Strawberry and fig with a nice touch of earth. Softened after 45 min. Leathery finish. Medium/long legs.
