March 14, 2022 - Pretty nose and definitely on the darker fruit spectrum with dark cherries, a bit of underwood, and a slight peppery note. The palate is a bit less fruit forward with more tertiary flavors, cherries, sois bois, and a good amount of structural tannins. Long finish. Really lovely wine, this will only getter better with time.

November 12, 2021 - Excellent. Out of a mag. At first got cinnamon on the nose but wine was shut down. Took 2+ hours to come to life and showing very well. No sign of age here. Powerful. Huge nose full of clove, anise, cinnamon, and other spices integrated with fruit. Very good and punches above its weight for producer / price point.

January 19, 2019 - From magnum. Bright ruby red. No signs of age. Cherries. Raspberries. Coffee with time. Still quite tannic even at 20 years. This got better and better as the night went on. After 3 hours it was wonderful. The nose was highly complex. Drink now to 2039+

June 29, 2015 - Very elegant. Finesse and balance come to mind. Secondary stage. Opened for 2 hours prior. Perfect fill and provenance.

May 27, 2014 - Latricières-Chambertin Dinner (Paris Club - Chicago IL): From magnum. Open ~4 hours before serving single blind in our final Latricieres flight. Surprisingly more backward, less forthcoming vs the 2002 vintage. Good fruit, good spice, just not quite in perfect harmony tonight. Largely unchanged the 2nd night.
