March 9, 2022 - Served chilled to 40 degrees. This is such a special wine, weightless on the palate and perfectly balanced with light, savory fruit and a touch of nuttiness. So elegant and unique.

In this flight all 4 champagnes were very similar 05,06 and late disgorged 05 and 06 (5 more years). I'm not a big fan of 05 and 06 but Cristal Rose is one of the rare exceptions. Maybe 06 is a bit more "muscular" but all of them elegegant and accessible. 94(96) -

December 24, 2018 - Good cherries. Good bead.
A bit too sweet the first day. Better the second, actually. I get the feeling that is seldom written of bubbly..
Day two: bitter bing, wet steel and Apple and Brioche, as you’d expect. A pleasant sourdoughY note on the finish. A good drink, and very fine with Taj Campton chicken noodle soup. -
