June 23, 2006 - Methuselahs Blind tasting - June 2006: Inky purple. Rich dark fruit, blackberries and plums. The nose is dense and sweet and the pallet is exactly the same. Super viscous, black fruits that are almost candied with pepper and other spices that kick in at the end. This is sort of a Zin style Syrah which I really like. Still, the sweet elements are very apparent and I think I will give it some time before opening another bottle to see what happens.

March 15, 2006 - At first loads of ripe berry fruit, then pepper and tarry notes, but quite a bit of heat on the finish. Needs time. Much better on days two and three.
