October 14, 2015 - Double decanted; moderate sediment. First pour two hours later: Black/red color. Lovely nose of dark fruit and almonds. Full bodied on the palate with black cherry and minerals, light acids, and considerable tannins and a little heat on the medium length finish. It should be in the middle of its best drinking window. An interesting and quite enjoyable wine from the rare Casavecchia grape. Great QPR at under $20/bottle.
