May 2, 2021 - A post-lockdown weekend with friends; 5/1/2021-5/3/2021 (Copse Hill, Lower Slaughter): With rhubarb frangipani; consistent with yesterday's note, all disappeared quite happily.

August 15, 2011 - Apricots dominate, some stewed fruit. Feels young indeed (we didnt believe the note below until we tried). Some unbalanced acidity on the finish spoils the fun. Okish finish. Not the greatest but not bad. we would suggest you wait and hope. 87

May 17, 2009 - A Retrospective of the Cotes de Nuits though the 90s (Asia Grand): Deep orange gold. Extremely youngish and with lots of ripe botrytis. This doesn't feel a day older than an 03 vintage. Tons of apricots- both fresh and dried, youthful honey pineapples and indian summer mangoes. Low acidity which makes this quite a bellifluous wine. Lacks the charm that comes with such old vintages but I appreciate for it being a miracle like a Sophia Loren - exuding much exhuberance and vigour at such an age.
