  January 2, 2009 - Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon
  Color: Dark red/purple
  Aroma: Spicy, earthy
  Taste: Plum, full-bodied, dark cherry (after chocolate), a little smoky (after being open and decanted for over an hour). Almost like a Petite Syrah at first taste.
  Finish: Long finish
  Notes: We bought this in April 2006 and finally had a bottle with dinner. It is still very fruity and very well balanced. It paired nicely with roasted vegetables and fish in a light curry sauce. The wine still has a couple of years of life left in it. The bottle quickly disappeared during a casual dinner for two. Food friendly and well pleasant on the palate.
