October 20, 2011 - c- dark purple black, lightening at edges. a- motor oil, alcohol, dark fruits, oak. f- funky. dark fruit, alcohol, nice acidity. seemed a little alcoholic at first, but after decanting to get it off the sediment in the bottle this was less noticeable. cedary oak and vanilla present in the medium to long finish, with a full body. i had this at 88-89 and mrgrando said below, it could use some time, but could be drunk now if decanted. an interesting bottle.

March 21, 2011 - Very(!) deep, dark red color. Nose of fruits and oak. Intense taste of dark berries, fig(?). Full, round.

February 4, 2011 - This is a great wine, has a lot of honesty, which seems to be lacking in Chilean wine this days. The wine hasn't show it's full potential yet, keep for a couple of years.
