December 5, 2023 - Dang this is good. Even bordering on great. Just needed cellar time. Nose shows red cherry, some brambles, mushrooms earthiness. Some cigar box. Forest floor. Appropriately rustic. Strong acid and mineral. Integrated tannins. Long finish.

February 14, 2020 - light in color, which belies the complexities below. Nose red and black cherry, mushrooms, herbal hints, brambly. Palate still holds fresh acidity, strong fruit, minerality toward finish. Not most complex Burgundy, but well above price point and level of Bourgogne.

February 28, 2019 - Took a 1/2 hour or so but opened up nicely.

July 29, 2013 - Similar to the last bottle, but better. Better nose, better red fruit, lots of terrior. But also a little thin, lacking in complexity, and slightly bitter on the finish. It benefitted from the extra time, but it still has a pretty low ceiling. Best with food.

March 1, 2012 - Wasn't really into this one. Very tart - definitely went better with food. Acid was good but was hard to get past the tart/sour aspects of this. Second of two bottles - last one was opened a year ago - not any noticeable change from either bottle.
