October 12, 2022 - EL Birthday Dinner (The Garden Table at Le Pavillon): Very good, basically textbook Coche Meursault. Had the requisite matchstick on the nose, good Meursault roundness and that magic Coche weight to it. Didn't offer more than that though so I put it below the 1995 Coche MP.

September 13, 2021 - Good to try this again after 3 years. Explosive Coche Dury nose with gunflint, hazelnut, fireworks and toffee beans. Palate is ripe with warm nut fruit but the acidity is fresh enough to support it. The wine has generous power to please. A classic representation of Coche Dury. And again the domaine is a master in handling ripe vintage. 93+

September 10, 2021 - Epic Bordeaux for an Epic Birthday!; 9/1/2021-9/12/2021 (Paris & Bordeaux): The good news is my wallet is still safe from white burgundy. Just a small sip and it tastes like white burg. Perhaps a nicer version of it, but nothing that fits with what I most want to be drinking.

April 17, 2021 - Nothing like a aged coche, needed quite a bit of air before it settled down. Eventually settled into a delicious toasted pineapple tart flavors which was delightful.
