  July 31, 2015 - I think this is my favourite CC (next to Querciabella and Fontodi). Fantastic nose with red cherries and violets dominating. Brunate colour. Very rustical, the barrel did not ruin the wine to the New World direction:) Lots od tannins, acidity with the fruit perfectly hidden (still too young?). A little to high alc. maybe (14,4%). Will age well for another 3-4 years I think.

  August 19, 2014 - For me one of Top 3 Chianti producers. I would say this is an adult wine now at its 'almost peak' although I will wait another 6-12 months to drink the other bottle.
  Very nice nose with hints of cherries and little vanilla. Perfect palate with good balance.

  April 24, 2014 - Fantastic nose encouraging for drinking:) Much violet flowers on the nose. However while drinking I had the impression that it could still wait another 2-3 years... or maybe didn't let the wine to breathe... Much tannins and the minority of fruit. Very good wine with even better view for the future.

  October 26, 2013 - Beutiful cherry colour - light and clear. Nose: cherries, delicate - bit sweet. Taste: a lot of fruits - mainly cherries, tannins still present but integrating. Very classic Classico.

  May 9, 2013 - Rubi médio a escuro com evolução ao granada. Nariz com notas de framboesas, cerejas, um toque herbáceo e sutil lembrança de terra. Boca de corpo médio, com adequada acidez e uma discreta pegada tânica, sendo agradavelmente seco e isento de madeira que se faça notar. Um Chianti de bom equilíbrio, prazeroso, mas não especialmente complexo. Creio que já esteja razoavelmente próximo ao seu ápice evolutivo e que aguentará bem por aprox. mais uns 3 anos.
