    May 5, 2023 - Color: medium ruby
Nose: at first, brett. Then. After about two hours of air, the fruit is dark red, ripe but not too much, and there is a clear earth and stone smell to this along with pencil shaving. A slight leather and fig scent here as well, and there is some belpepper though quite tempered
Palate: medium-high acidity, medium tannin that is smooth and close to resolved, medium body really. Alcohol here is perceptible. Confirms the nose
    Finish: medium

A good wine. No trace of sweetness, close to balanced, serious aromas that give real pleasure. Needs two hours of air imo. Then it delivers a solid though not profound Bordeaux experience. Good with food, can go another few years in cellar but I doubt it'll get much better

March 26, 2023 - Great nose. Freshness and maturity at the same time. First impression was 92-93, but it has a disappointing short finish. Kind of over promised and under delivered. Still a very nice wine in a fantastic place now.

April 29, 2022 - so sad this was the last pair of bottles of my case, bought EP. in such a good place right now - tertiary starting to push through but fruit in balance. lovely wine at this price (even now; EP it was a steal) and i just wish i'd bought more.

October 3, 2021 - Perfectly ready. Immediate bouquet of Berries, cherries, huckleberries, boysenberries, raspberries, strawberries. Hint of pepper. Taste of cashews. Then Walnuts.
