January 7, 2024 - Classic Barossa greasepaint aroma of added acid, age, warm Shiraz fruit.

I believe this is French oaked. Not particularly noticeable now.

Soft and silky now. No blockbuster. Flavoursome and enjoyable. Best served at cellar temperature.

    14.5%, screwcap.

October 22, 2020 - Drank over two nights. Superb wine at its peak now. Soft but interesting complexity of fruit. Delightful flavour. Could last another year or two but no need. Drink up now

December 16, 2017 - Not bad. Showing age with soft, integrated tannins. A little muted. An enjoyable drink but lacks complexity and interest. Drink up.

July 27, 2013 - Lovely vibrant deep red colour that seems to glow in the glass. A very striking colour. Beautifully rounded nose plumb and caramel with a hint of mint. Primarily a fruit driven medium bodied wine. Big gulp of plumb with a bit of sharper cherry on the finish. Light oak which is nicely balanced. Big round mouth feel and lovely smooth tannins. Medium long finish. Fairly straight forward fruit driven wine but it is pleasant.

January 21, 2013 - Dark purple core to rim. Nose is spicy with cedar, menthol and black liquorice. To taste it's sweet blackcurrants, viscous, chewy and quite cloying. A bit of a sweet fruit bomb, not my style.
