November 29, 2018 - WCC US Syrah Blind (Provence Restaurant, Albany, NY): Smoky red and black fruit nose. Sweet juicy fruit. Medium length. A very tasty wine. Ready.

February 15, 2010 - Plum coloring in the glass. Came off a little "hot" right out of the bottle, but settled in quickly after getting a few minutes of air time. Blackberry, raspberry and some earthiness. Very enjoyable, which made up for the sub-par stemware we were forced to use. Not a complex wine, but good structure and medium to full bodied finish.

September 13, 2009 - Decanted 2 hours. Flat and unimpressive. Nothing in the bottle said to me "this is interesting." Poured out half the bottle. Don't think it was a flawed/corked bottle. Just not that appealing to me.

September 29, 2006 - Solid body and structure, plenty of fruit in the nose and palate with underlying spice. Very enjoyable. Still a young wine and could use a few more years on its side.
