  February 14, 2014 - The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry. It tastes like black currant (cassis), light toast and coffee. The body is medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

  December 25, 2013 - This wine is beautiful... big fruit, velvet mouthfeel, soft tannins and a wonderful spice on the nose. Time has been a friend to this wine.

  August 4, 2012 - Drank this with a group of friends for a birthday party at Smith & Wollensky, everyone paired the wine with steak and the overall consensus was that it was a perfect pairing.

  October 19, 2011 - Decanted a magnum; it was immediately & pleasantly approachable. It is excellent now, great nose of fruit with a hint of spice, medium-soft tannin and excellent balance. Little change to the last drop over 90 minutes. This wine could be Outstanding with cellar time; I look forward to seeing how this wine develops over the next few years.
