Schwarze Johannisbeeren, Rauch, gute Tiefe. Klasse Teil!

April 9, 2017 - This bottle has been temperature controlled for 6 years and was opened and decanted 2 hours before drinking with roast pork. Appearance is dark ruby, nose of chocolate and mint. In the mouth, blackcurrants on the woodland floor (my wife's description, based on the aromas when we are our walking). This is a big wine, not unexpectedly for a tannat. Drinking perfectly now.

September 17, 2014 - Deep dark. Still youthful looking. Brooding dense bramble fruits with smokey undertones. Tannins soft but pursuasive. Drinkable now with food but no hurry
