December 8, 2023 - 2009 drinking too short already in my opinion. Drink now. Low QPR as well?

January 14, 2023 - The wine was showing a bit shy after the Latour 1982… Still noce nose of smoke and cigar, nice ripe tannins, very classy claret!!

January 3, 2022 - eye: dark, opaque, ruby
nose: without swirl hard to detect, dull. after swirl: licorice, boiled down blackberry, dark cherry that is replaced by leather, vanilla, tobacco over time (2h), very bordeauxesque.
palate: here are the dark intense berries again. like syrup. lots of licorice and vanilla. great!
high in alcohol and tannins which are still young and astringent but not unpleasant.
acidity is there and gives the necessary structure and contrast to the sweetness of the berries.

0.375 bottle, not decanted, no food pairing drank over 2h. can easily age a few more years. glad I still have many but I keep drinking from now on.

June 25, 2021 - Stunning, sublime, and plenty left in the tank !

June 5, 2021 - My first bottle, so wasn't sure what to expect. 5 hour decant. Very disjointed in first 2-3 hours, then the pieces started to knit together. By hour 5, this was lovely. So, the 91 points may be a little low. Think this has greater potential, maybe to 93-94.
