  August 16, 2019 - Deep ruby red, clear rim. Bouquet of rich, black fruit with liquorice and cinnamon. Palate is predominantly black fruit based with mature acidity and soft tannins. Finish is quite acidic and fruit is not as pronounced as earlier vintages of Bin 28 I've drunk

  February 19, 2015 - Down to our last bottle of this '95 bin 28, still surprisingly good even though it's well past the recommended drinking window. Sweet jammy black fruits, violets and dark chocolate on those nose, thick smooth glycerol mouthfeel, a warming kick from the alcohol, but length leaves a bit to be desired.

  March 1, 2014 - Amazing how well this has held up for 19 years of age. Good acid backbone and plenty of fruit. If it wasn't for the cork it'd have years ahead of it.

  February 1, 2014 - Still very drinkable at 19 years of age, testament to the quality of Penfolds production even on their cheaper bottles. Decant for a few hours before drinking it needs time to open up but compared very well against the 2001 bin 28 we also drank tonight,
