March 1, 2024 - Gereiftes Rubin. Verhaltene Nase, weniger tiefgründig als les Damodes, rote Frucht, erdige Noten. Im Gaumen zugänglich, merklich Säure, etwas wackelig und mit deutlich weniger Länge im Abgang als les Damodes. Trinken.

March 11, 2022 - PnP'ed during a dinner at Yangming Seafood. This was so, so much better now; Looking at my past notes, I last had this 8-yrs ago and it was hardly drinking (back then). Nose was still not that forthcoming but presented notes of orange-peel, black-cherries & plums upon active-swirling. Palate showed much better with the wealth/intensity of fruit, albeit still packed in a somewhat structured frame though 8-yrs of age has kind of soften it to a point where it's now at least enjoyable. Long finish with a nice trailing tail of acidity/freshness to mop it up. Willing to bet that this will still get better with more cellar time...

January 28, 2021 - Disappointing. Fairly closed, a bit on the thin side. Better day two but not outstanding.

    December 7, 2019 - Clear med purple

    Cola
    Dark cherry
    Dusty, stemmy
    Mineral - blood? Iron?
    Touch of new oak?

    Dry
    Med body
    Med+ acid
    Med- finish
    Low tannins
    Med+ alc

Probably as good as it gets... can't see how this will develop.
