September 8, 2023 - A bit over the hill but still enjoyable

  • GrumpyGilly Likes this wine: 90 points

June 16, 2023 - One of those wines that shouts classic aged left bank claret and could be identified by the nose alone. Earth, musk and sweet tobacco with black fruits all in balance. Not the most elegant but fantastic price to quality here.

March 9, 2023 - Beautiful and elegant wine. Not decanted, ready straight from the bottle. Very smooth.

  • Rond Likes this wine: 93 points

April 2, 2022 - Notes of berry, clove, and smoke. Smooth and drinking very nicely

February 20, 2022 - Hmm, not as good as my previous btl. Pop and pour, on the counter unrefrigerated overnight, notes from 24 hrs open. On the nose: cola, toothpaste, blackberry, hoisin, hickory...very secondary and even tertiary notes. On the palate: good acidity and weight, smoke, cedar, bbq sauce, and dried blackberry, finely grained tannin on the finish.
