June 13, 2010 - Dark crimson with purple highlights. The fruit character is rather ripe and jammy in this one with layers of sweet spice, vanilla, coffee and bitter chocolate to follow. There is an earthy, liqorice edge as well. Full in body with crisp acidity and mature tannins. Round and fruity but relatively high in alcohol when compared with the other components especially towards the finish.
