October 24, 2016 - Yikes. We opened and pre-tasted this wine before taking it to our wine tasting group and it was spectacular. 1 hour later @ wine tasting, it was unpalatable. We were shocked and disappointed.
A couple days later we opened another same vintage bottle during a party and it tasted okay. We poured a glass or 2 and pumped it up. The next day it was awful, totally pruney and stewey. Personally, I would have thrown it out, but my husband pumped it up. A full 48 hours after opening the bottle, we tried it again, and it was spectacular.
Blown away by the range of this wine. -
