September 25, 2021 - I was worried it would be past its prime but it was not. Served at a Loire reunion. We had had this wine in Chinon in May 2010. I had saved for a reunion party Still dark. Went well with Coq au Vin. Great memories

August 10, 2014 - This really needed time to show its best. It displayed lots of cooked plums, cherries, saladitos, minerals, smoke, and a dry finish. It's adequately put together and fleshed out nicely over the course of dinner.

April 23, 2013 - Soft cherry aroma with a distant powder that is green and full. Decent body would age, Full body in a light wine which speaks of its origin

October 14, 2012 - Beautiful, light, floral, cedar smoke...

June 19, 2012 - Light ruby color. Nose absolutely dominated with graphite and spice. Red currant and blackberry on the palate with a touch of charcoal on the finish. Well balanced and good with food. Really nice.
