  March 21, 2020 - Another that falls into the too old/possible poor storage category. Spent tomato stew and some wet dog on the nose. Start and middle are weak. In spite of all this, finish redeems and is long and shows some of the flavors this wine once had. 6-10 years too old.

  May 21, 2013 - Unfortunately past its prime. The first day is a modern wine, deep color and ripe fruit, but also somewhat hollow. The second day shows already significant oxidation despite having been kept under vacuum.

  January 11, 2009 - This is great stuff. Deep purple with currants, mocha, tar, and dark ripe fruit on the nose. Seems almost fruit forward on the nose but one sip and swirl, this is great stuff. Excellent balance with silky tannins. Just starting to come into it's own.

  August 2, 2008 - Fabulous, well done IGT - Black, well concentrated with notes of plum, licorice, tar, mocha and vanilla on the nose, well structured and balanced, silky smooth on the palate with a very long finish (93 Points).
