April 28, 2021 - The review before this has it spot-on. The nose has a slight antiseptic air to it, but the taste is excellent.

December 9, 2017 - Always love Mikes wines, and this '08 Kenefick was still drinking well. Seemed a bit more Jammy than i remember, with mostly Black and Dark Red Fruits. Not sure if it was an off bottle, as no noticeable aspects, but seemed a bit flat. Was not decanted but we did drink it over a 5 hour period where it never really seemed to open up.

Still a really good bottle of wine, but think this may be at its peak, and ready for consumption soon if you have them, as community drink dates show 2017 as end of peak and would agree. Think i probably has another few to 5 years, but think it will soon make its decline.

March 29, 2017 - Love it! Mike is a great winemaker. Full of fruit and interesting tannins . Can't wait to drink the next one.

July 12, 2016 - WineFest in Toronto (Mike Grammer); 7/10/2016-7/12/2016 (Mike Grammer's (parents home) in Toronto): In a great place right now. Young but certainly past the teenage years. This is a big, sweet, ripe wine that is both delicious as well as showing a complexity. The nose has cassis, slight char and a bit of roasted herbs. On the palate, juicy ripe cassis fruit. Some spice. Slight earth. Good balance. Nice finish.

January 4, 2016 - Vikings actually beat the Packers (Gary and Judy's): Modern Napa cab. Perfumed exotic fruit. Not that exciting.
