February 22, 2024 - Not a great deal on the nose on opening - was a bit concerned. But left for an hour and it transformed. Outstanding concentration but still light on palate. Mild tannins so still a long way to go.

April 11, 2021 - Very expressive nose. You can smell it from a foot away. Red fruited with an herbal (anise) and pencil lead smell to it. Mouth confirms the nose and it stands out that this is a super concentrated wall of flavor and yet remains light on its feet because of the acidity. Four corner cabernet with fruit (cassis), herbal (anise), earth (graphite), and barrel notes (vanilla). Even at 13 years past vintage it is still more toward the primary fruit side. Very fine grain tannins that just disappear in your mouth and a long lingering finish. This is really good now but still felt young.

January 26, 2021 - blackcurrant, blackberry, cassis, mocha, cigar box, baking spice, leather, sweet licorice, peppercorn and anise

youthful fruit, lush and expansive mouthfeel. Tannins are fine grained and the finish is silky. Delightful and classic. One of my oakville favorites for good reason

September 17, 2020 - Popped and poured. Dark reddish purple, with a little yellow at the edge. Strong black fruit-centric nose, blackberry, black cherry, maybe blueberry. Palate is black fruit first, earth/granite, a touch of pencil lead. Initial big "purple" fruit-dominant impression quickly widened out to much more robust, complex drinking experience. Full-bodied with a long finish. More and more interesting with time in the air.

September 27, 2017 - Nice dark ripe fruits with a smooth texture. Wonderful purity of fruit and nice concentration and depth while still maintaining balance. On the younger side of the drinking window. Perhaps just a touch monolithic. Quite good.
