April 12, 2024 - Very bright, fresh and vibrant still, with sappy red cherry dominating both nose and palate. Quite acidic, like Guillot often is, and the only reproach I might make is that it lacks a bit of a bass line, a bit of stuffing, but very enjoyable as it is and, surprisingly, better on this occasion than the 2010.

August 17, 2021 - Not as good as the last one - the fruit was very tight, compact and pinched, despite a long aeration in a decanter. So a little frustrating, but there was enough freshness left to make me wonder if it wasn't just in a dumb patch and I certainly wouldn't worry unduly if you have some left.

December 26, 2019 - Dark cloudy red. Nose fairly closed even after a considerable decant. Touch of musty dark toned fruit. Entry is fairly acidic with quite dark fruit. Length is not great either with mostly acidity on the finish. Perhaps too general but the higher acidity Baudry wines are not aging well.

March 23, 2019 - Quite tight and acidic at first, but an hour in the decanter opened it up. Aromas of flowers, cranberry, red cherry and blackberry, before a crisp attack of cherry, quickly broadening into a strong wave of cranberry, morphing into redcurrants, with an elegant but persistent finish. The fruit is bright, clear and precise. No trace of oak, nor bell pepper.

April 8, 2018 - Sweet, plums and red fruit, well balanced
