September 12, 2018 - This bottle did not have the excitement or finish of the 2005. Nothing wrong with it, but not memorable.

May 24, 2014 - Enjoyable wine, but expect more from a reserve. Nice upfront berry flavors, but lacked some depth. Could be that I didn't decant more upfront.

April 26, 2012 - Tasted at the winery. It's a huge wine with, I think, a big flaw. The acid to tannin ratio is overwhelming. Too much acid. I have noticed the highly acidic nature of several California '06s. Maybe it will mellow and allow the tannins and other characteristics to come forward. I wouldn't hold out too much hope though. Tasted it immediately prior to sampling the 2007 Lasseter. That wine was beautifully balanced and outstanding in all regards.
