September 15, 2021 - Another Keto friendly and wonderful dish that Barb whipped up

Chicken with Chipotle Cream Sauce. Made with thighs and fresh spinach. Rich and satisfying with moderate heat

Wine 1999 Bernard et Robert Schoffit Clos Saint-Theobald Rangen de Thann Riesling Alsace Grand Cru
Alc 12.5 %. Moderately dark yellow color. Bit of wax and spice I think the nose. Gentle sweetness with near full maturity. The finish fades a bit. Great with the food
    Get to these soon

July 13, 2009 - Medium gold in color, looking like apple juice. Wonderful nose of honeyed, baked apples and a hint of mineral. After a day, palate opened a bit to reveal some lemony acidity carrying honey, apples, and slate. Body is medium to full; quite viscous. Finishes medium.

December 7, 2008 - This is probably passing on its way - it's now a nice, dark, golden color and quite a bit of residual sweetness, though the back end is flattening out meaningfully. I (gulp) used a 1/2 cup of this in a lobster risotto that I made, and it went well through the entire meal.

June 24, 2002 - AS club Riesling (@ Klap): Enormously full bodied and complex. Perfect wine.

A somewhat muted riesling nose with some good minerality and a hint of petrol. Quite full in the mouth, but very clean, with nice balance.
