March 21, 2013 - Better than I expected. Full, particularly for a merlot. Agree with prior notes about subtle nuances of coconut and milk chocolate. Nice fruit, balanced, and medium oak finish. Interesting for a value wine. Did not survive day 2.

March 14, 2013 - Nose: Pepper marinated ripe plums. Blackberries too. Cedar, Smoked cherries.
Not too complex but, amazingly drinkable and satisfying. A fantastic, everyday Merlot choice as long as you have the discipline to open well before enjoying. -

July 2, 2011 - Coconut, jimmy and oaky nose. Smelled hot but alcohol in check when in mouth. Smooth, blackberry, some oak, pluot, violet. Decent. worth $12.

February 3, 2011 - Marked at the store as the "employee pick". Good price for California wine in Ontario. Drinks above its price point, but not by much. If you like lots of fruit and oak, this is for you. It's not complex or well-balanced, but it's good.
