July 15, 2019 - While this is a flashy, commercialized winery, I never cease to be impressed by the consistency of their lineup. Their Rutherford Merlot is a highly structured, well crafted wine that dispels all of the hyperbole about the flabbiness of this varietal. It is delicious now, 10 years after release. While it will not improve, this wine should hold in this range for several years.

November 16, 2013 - Need to decanter this for at least 2 hours.
The wine looks Purple colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Medium Toast, and Black currant (cassis). It tastes like Black currant (cassis), and Oak. The body is Medium. The wine has Smooth texture. The wine finishes Short.
