May 6, 2022 - Excellent! Vibrant, crisp with citrus fruit, mineral and smoky flinty notes. Obvious but complementing oak adds some vanilla notes as well. Supremely balanced and quaffable. It's not a shy wine is any way, yet I feel it is still somehow understated. Maybe that's because the greatness of this wine is not in the aromas or the flavour or the finish, great though they may be, but in its finesse, focus, concentration, poise, balance, purity, cleanliness. In other words in things rather intangible and unquantifiable. But it could as well be the fact that it happens to be La Mission Haut Brion, i.e. legendary and expensive! Who knows? What I do know is that I enjoyed the hell out of it. It made a heavenly pair with grilled red mullet with freshly grated ripe tomato cooked and sweetened and vegetables in fine olive oil.

August 29, 2021 - Dinner at Dibbs's: Everyone called this as Sauvignon Blanc but I was surprised to find out that it was made up of majority Semillon, it did not have the richness that I expected for sure. Pale straw yellow in colour, not sure if this was shut down or just an off-bottle but there was not much on the nose or the palate, rather thin without tension, and a little green on the back end.

May 18, 2021 - The aroma was first like pear and mineral but as it breathed, the pear was replaced by a mixture of Meyer lemon and lime plus smoke. The texture was refreshing. The acidity made the finish last with a hint of dried apricot.

This wine is like a sophisticated lady in her early 30’s enjoying a modern art exhibition in a vacation spot in July.

June 14, 2019 - It was great. Unfortunately I only got two sips. Wish I had more to write a proper note.

March 13, 2019 - This bottle was creamy, rich and round with a vibrant mid-palate and an awesome and lengthy finish. The nose is explosive with grapefruit and citrus. it is too young now to drink and needs at least 5-7 years to come into its own.
