    May 3, 2024 - 📍Region: Saint-Julien/Medoc/Bordeaux/France 🇫🇷

(Second label from the renowned Chateau Léoville Las Cases)

    🍇Grape Variety: 71% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon

    🍷Alcohol: ABV: 14%

    💵Price: NTD: 2580

    👀Color: Deep ruby

👃Nose: Aromas of blackberry, black currant, plum, and vanilla initially. Cedar and leather after one hour.

👅Palate: Full bodied. Ripe fruit flavor. Firm tannin initially, became more round and smooth 30 mins later. Medium length. A little linear in structure, but very fine. Drink now and may wait for 3-5 years for more complexity.

*5/4: More silky tannins today. More earthy and woody than yesterday. Better than yesterday overall.

    🧮Overall Rating: 92

October 18, 2023 - Medium bodied. Smooth but on the bolder side. Strong cassis and slightly one-note.

March 22, 2023 - Opened this at Chin Lee Restaurant with my wine mates at our regular wine dinner. Theme of the evening: Wines that start with P.

Dark brooding purple. Full of cassis and ripe berries. At the moment, this wine presents itself well but lacking the finesse to move from good to great. Potential is definitely present, but needs further time in the bottle to develop.

Do consider opening this in 5 years time.

March 5, 2023 - You can definitely feel the ripeness of the vintage through the nose and palate. Very intense, bit one dimensional but well made. Needs some strong pairing to go with. Medium length. A very good 2nd wine
