Community Tasting Notes 2

November 20, 2010 - Baked apples and oranges with the peel intact appear on the nose. It reminds me of some sort of spicy, savory, baked Christmas dish. The flavors deliver what the nose suggests, reminding me a bit of a citrus glazed ham. Nice and interesting.

May 30, 2010 - Memorial Day Weekend near Salem Oregon (Willamette Valley Oregon): Light cantaloupe fruit, with the rind intact shows on the nose along with scents of freshly cut brush. The wine shows flavors of peach skin, some tart acidity toward the finish, and an interesting tang that reminds me a bit of salmon.
