Community Tasting Notes 4

January 23, 2017 - Decanted for an hour and drank over several more at Keen's in NYC.
This was surprisingly still very much alive and well. Very perfume nose of rose petals and leather and palate of dark fruits -- superb with steak. Tannins well integrated. I'd say this is at the tail end of its peak drinking window but - if its been stored properly - should be delightful for another few years. I believe Artesa produces some of the most underrated, best value cabs in Napa. Delicious juice.

    May 17, 2014 - Beautifully-integrated oak, subtle fruit, and a little spice.

March 2, 2014 - Drinks well now. Ripe fruit, soft tannins and balanced acid.
