Community Tasting Notes 2

December 29, 2011 - Opened Christmas Day lunch. Quite ripe and woody. A good old fashioned oaky Chardy. My wife quite enjoyed but I found it too much for the fish we were having so I opened a Sauvignon Blanc Semillion Cape Mentelle instead. Had a glass of leftover the next day and found it very nice under less food induced constraint.

April 16, 2010 - Fair amount of toasted oak on nose, creamy peaches on the palate with a long after taste. Good balance crispness and fruit, different style than 07
